展覽名稱：1979年後美台關係特展 U.S.-Taiwan Relations since 1979

節目簡介： 展覽的重心在介紹1979年後台灣與美國間的緊密合作與交流。展覽內容以歷史文件，老照片與歷史性影片，以及口述歷史等方式，回顧在台灣關係法的架構下，美國與台灣工、商、衛生與醫療、文化、及教育等各方面發展關聯性。除以大事記方式，作圖文歷史回顧；並以增進台灣在全球的角色，增進美台經濟與商業關係，增進美台安全合作，與增進美台人民的關係四大主軸，敘述台美關係的發展。為增加展覽呈現的多元化，運用擴增實境和虛擬實境的功能，介紹美國在台協會的活動，與美國在台協會台北市內湖新址的一景。此外，本項展覽活動之展品大多由美國在臺協會提供，包括過往活動的成果與台美關係相關文件。

Brief Introductory:

This exhibition features photos, documents, artifacts, and videos commemorating AIT’s role in supporting U.S.-Taiwan relations for the past 40 years since 1979. The goal of this new exhibition is to highlight the friendship and partnership between the United States and Taiwan since the signing of the Taiwan Relations Act. Under the Act, both sides cooperated in various industries and businesses as well as in areas of public health, medicine, culture, and education. The exhibition is guided by a timeline, with photos of historical events in four main categories of increasing development in economy and businesses, security, the people. The exhibition is heightened with virtual reality features of activities organized by AIT and the new office in Neihu that was opened last year in 2019. The contents of the exhibition have been provided mostly by AIT.
